M.D. Coverley is the pen name for Marjorie Coverley Luesebrink. Her full-length hypermedia novel, Califia, is available on CD-ROM from Eastgate Systems.

Her interest in hypertext fiction and web hypermedia dates to 1995, when she published "The Virtual Mausoleum," one of the early web narratives. 

Her web short stories and essays have appeared in Iowa Review Web, BeeHive, Cauldron and Net, Alt-X, Riding the Meridian, Salt Hill, New River, Enterzone, Aileron, Bunk! and frAme.

She is founding member of the Board of Directors of the Electronic Literature Organization.
