Bob and Peggy Kimbell are going on a Sunday drive. They have Bobby Jr. and Sue tucked safely in the back seat. They will cruise down Sunset Boulevard: Bob, proud of his new car; Peggy, thinking she must be the luckiest woman alive to have a new house in the Valley and a husband who wears a hat and two fine children; the kids, playing "license plate" and looking for the Curries ice cream shop where they will get a mile-high cone. They will go to the beach.
