Ah, we are here in The Garden.  Which garden, you might ask?

Well, each English Garden has its own particular charm, and each one sings of the romance of an enchanted, hidden place that blooms forth each spring.  The grounds of Clifton Campus have a river walk that is different from the usual garden and is diffused not with the romance of the columbine and the rose, but with forbidden human love.  We slip out through the gate behind the Peverell Residence Halls and into Clifton Grove, the actual site of the memorable love scene in D.H. Lawrence's Sons and Lovers.  

And if you find the clue on this page, you can read the love scene that happened right below your residence halls at Nottingham Trent, on the River Trent -- at least in a book. You can click on the clue in this Paragraph to be plunged into the love scene between Paul and Clara.

As virtual sleuths, we can even afford ourselves a bird's eye view.  Does the suppression of a work of fiction constitute murder?  Perhaps the deceased Book is Lady Chatterley's Lover?
