The Roadhead is the place where the Reader can take compass bearings, get oriented to the landscape, learn how to navigate the Califia world, and find out about the creation and creators in this work.  The Reader will have a choice of leaving on a Journey South, East, North, or West.  On the trail in each direction, the narrators, Augusta, Kaye, and Calvin offer differing ways to explore the stories in that sector.
