full moon in eclipse

It's observation from the perspective of time.  But I only remember two times the moon disappeared.  Both of them happened in Louisiana, both on the banks of the Mississippi.

The charts tell us the days of the new moon, the crescent moon, the waxing moon, the gibbous moon, the full moon, the disseminating, the waning and the dark.  But the actual full moon lasts only for an instant.  One moment the moon is full, the next moment it isn't.  In this way, I guess, love might be like the moon.

What are the chances?  Black water with eyes.

But even when I see a perfect moon in the sky, I know that the shadows, a kind of knowing, are always travelling across the sky, moving free and fast.

Then mom saw a sign that said ALLIGATOR FARM AND VOODOO MAGICK SHOP AHEAD.  Oh, Daddy--she called him "daddy" even though there was just the me--let's stop.
